Freebie: Printable ‘prewashed’ labels to show which fabrics are ready to use
If I’m sewing clothing, or anything else that will get washed, I always always always prewash my fabric before sewing it. In a perfect world, I’d prewash all of my fabric before it went into the stash, but this is most certainly not a perfect world and I have to ask myself, “Did I prewash that?” every time I pull fabric from my stash. If it’s not obvious from fraying, I’ll end up washing it again – just to be sure. But now I’ve got printable labels for my stash fabrics that will let me know if it’s washed and ready to go, and I’ve got them as a free download on my personal blog, Orange Bettie.
