He Sewed She Sewed Online Video Series

February 14, 2023 by Shellie Wilson

He Sewed She Sewed is a unique sewing series led by Mimi G and Norris Dánta Ford.

The couple showcases their sewing skills and creative flair by taking on two different projects, one for him and one for her, using the same fabric.

Together, Mimi G and Norris Dánta Ford bring a unique and dynamic perspective to the world of sewing and fashion. With their combined expertise and passion for style, they aim to inspire and empower individuals to express their creativity through sewing and design. Whether it’s through their classes, patterns, or blogs, they are dedicated to helping others discover the joy of making their own clothes and becoming their own fashion designers. With their “He Sewed She Sewed” series, they bring the excitement of friendly competition to the sewing room and show viewers how to create stylish outfits for both him and her.

The in-depth video tutorial provides over 1 hour and 27 minutes of instruction, covering topics like floral, plaid, denim, brocade, and lace fabric. In addition, the series comes with bonus resources such as a downloadable PDF, Q&A access, and tutorials on making a fabric belt with a covered buckle, a 3D cargo pocket, and floral embellishments.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

Make some for yourself, for gifts or to sell.
