There’s still almost a month left in summer before school starts back again. If the days are starting to feel longer and longer, and the words “I’m booooored” being uttered more often than you’d like, Caroline from Salsa Pie has what you need. Her Crafts for Kids video series for PBS Parents shows fun crafts for parents and kids to make together. They’re not overly complicated so kids can do most of the making, and they can made from supplies that most of us crafty types have on hand. For example, in this video she shows how to make a fun tassel flag out of a wooden down, paper party streamers, and school glue. How fun is that! And while they’re running around with their new tassel flags, you can sneak in a little sewing time! Check out all of the Crafts for Kids videos at PBS Parents channel on YouTube.
