Sergers and sewing machines have a lot in common, in that they both make stitches in fabric. But much of the terminology for the two machines is different. If you’ve got a serger, there are probably features mentioned in your manual that you don’t really understand. Irene from Serger Pepper guest blogs at Sew McCool with her Ultimate Serger Dictionary to help you better understand all that your serger can do. It’s a long enough post they’ve split it into two for easier reading.
