Craft fails happen to all of us. Some are more of a fail than others. Pintester chronicles a sewing fail using a favorite tutorial of mine, a 10-minute girl’s skirt from an old t-shirt. It really is a great tutorial, and it makes a cute gathered skirt. The fail starts when Pintester decides to make the skirt for herself instead of for a little girl, and it goes downhill from there. If you’ve ever had a sewing fail before, you’ve got to read this. I’m sure you’ll recognize a few of your missteps in there.

It sounds like she already knew this was going to fail but kept going???? Done correctly for little girls, it’s an adorable idea! Of course if you add a couple more t-shirts it would make a cute maxi skirt for an adult with a yoga waistband (not done by hand!).
