When you sew with a double needle, your machine will make two lines of stitching on the top of the fabric and a zig zag between them on the back. It doesn’t take any special attachments, just the needle and two spools of top thread. On lighter weight fabrics, though, sometimes tunneling can occur where the stitches on the back pull too tightly together and create a bump between the lines of stitching on the top. Heather from Feather’s Flights shows an easy adjustment to make to get beautiful double needle stitching without any tunneling. Go to Feather’s Flights to see what to do.
