As a sewer, I always find myself with a surplus of scrap fabrics, ribbons, and trims. I hate to throw them away, but I also don’t know what to do with all of them. But, I recently stumbled upon Heather Handmade’s tutorial for an Easter egg pillow and I was blown away by the creative and fun use of scraps.
I love decorating my home for different holidays and Easter is no exception. So, when I saw this tutorial, I knew I had to give it a try. And let me tell you, it was a blast! I was able to use my scraps of ric rac, ribbon, and fancy trims to create a colorful and festive Easter egg pillow.
The best part about this project is that it’s incredibly easy to sew. It’s a quick project that you can whip up in no time. Plus, if you have kids, you can let them pick out the ribbons and trims to use on the pillow. This not only makes it a special Easter decoration, but it also allows your kids to get involved in the project and add their personal touch to it.
If you’re looking for a fun and easy project to do this Easter season, I highly recommend giving this Easter egg pillow a try
