Sew Liberated Ashland Dress Sewing Pattern

September 2, 2023 by Shellie Wilson

I was drawn to the Sew Liberated Ashland Dress pattern due to its versatility and the promise of a great fit without having to make complicated bust adjustments. I was equallt impressed by the attention to detail in the pattern, with different sizes not just for the bust, but for cup sizes A-D. The bodice being fully lined makes it possible to use lighter-weight fabrics, making it a great choice for all seasons. The pattern provides instructions, assembly diagrams, and full-size pattern pieces, making it accessible to both advanced and beginner sewists.

I particularly appreciate the options for sleeveless or 3/4 length sleeves, making this pattern suitable for both summer and colder seasons. The suggested fabrics of lightweight cotton or Robert Kaufman Washer Linen are perfect for creating a comfortable and stylish dress. My final thoughts, I believe the Sew Liberated Ashland Dress pattern is a great choice for anyone looking for a versatile and well-designed dress pattern.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

Make some for yourself, for gifts or to sell.
