I have tried and tested the patterns – 6 times to be exact.
The resulting journal cover has a clean look and is very functional, with plenty of compartments including card slots, pen holders and a pocket for a smartphone. I have deliberately selected materials that are washable – so the journal cover can be chucked into the washing machine! This just adds on to the practicality of it.
Materials used are easily available from any sewing and craft stores. The sewing methods are all straight lines – no funky maneuvers required.
As with my previous tutorials, this one has clear diagrams and pictures to illustrate the steps. You can see the tutorial here.
