Learn how to easily add a tab to the top of a grocery bag – or any bag. Why? these tabs are used to hook onto the checkout counters to aid them with filling the bags. They keep the bags open whilst they are being filled. The tab should be durable as well as large enough to hook off, I find once the bag is filled and heavy it’s harder to lift the tabs. so being able to make your own or add them to a handmade shopping tote is a great sewing hack.
