Josie from Sew For Soul created this bunting banner to celebrate a new business in her area, a cafe that uses surplus food from area supermarkets. Instead of fixed prices, they offer their customers the opportunity to “pay what you feel.” It’s a unique approach to both reduce food waste and also help provide healthy and delicious meals to folks who could not otherwise pay for it. The banner Josie made has the name of the cafe stitched across it, one letter per flag. She shares a tutorial on her blog showing how you can make one of your own. You can use it as seasonal decoration or to celebrate special days, or put a happy message on it and hang it year round.
