Like many fashion trends from the 80s, fanny packs are back! Havalah from Sisters, What! shows how you can sew a fanny pack or hip bag that converts to a purse. The little corduroy bag can be carried either way, depending on the strap you choose and where you attach it. Slide the waist strap through the loops on the back, and it’s a fanny pack. Or, attach the shoulder strap to the loops at the side and you’ve got a purse you can carry on your shoulder or cross body. See how to make the purse that’s two bags in one!
