Sewing pattern: Installing an invisible zipper without using a special foot

February 19, by Anne Weaver. Leave a Comment

Sewing tutorial: Installing an invisible zipper without using a special footNewsflash…. you don’t need a special presser foot to sew an invisible zipper on your sewing machine.  I found this out when I got one of those plastic invisible zipper presser feet from the fabric store and spent no less than an hour and a half trying to make it fit on to my machine.  Finally I just gave up and sewed the zipper with a regular zipper foot, and I realized that it was far easier to do that than try to fight that foot.  I just kind of muddled through it, but Heather from Heather Handmade has a tutorial showing how to do it.
