Sewing pattern: Invisible ladder stitch

September 20, by Anne Weaver. Leave a Comment

Sewing tutorial: Invisible ladder stitchMany a sewing project involves sewing two pieces right sides together, and then turning them right side out through a hole you leave in the stitch line.  But once you get it turned right side out, you’ve got to close up that hole, preferably in a way that leaves no visible stitches.  The ladder stitch is your friend for this!  Melissa from Blank Slate Patterns and Melly Sews shows how to sew this simple hand stitch, also sometimes referred to as an invisible stitch, a blind stitch, or a slip stitch.
