Sew a midi or maxi length sundress for an American Girl or other 18-inch doll!  Sew Crafty has a free pattern and tutorial you can use.  She designed the dress to be easy to sew AND easy for a child to put on a doll.  Her doll dress pattern is a smaller version of her girls’ sundress pattern, so you could make matching doll and girl dresses!
