Nylon or plastic zippers are super easy to shorten. Just cut across the tape, then sew across the teeth! The only trick is to make sure your zipper pull isn’t on the part you cut off. Metal zippers, on the other hand, take a few more steps. Don’t worry, it’s easier than you’d think and Sew Altered Style has a tutorial showing how to do it!

Freebie: Printable Christmas Eve magic pillowcase poem
With all the excitement and expectation of Santa’s visit, it can be hard for kids to go to sleep on Christmas Eve. Melissa from Polka Dot Chair created special pillowcases for her nephews, to be used only on Christmas Eve.
