Sewing projects for teens can be tricky. It’s hard to know for sure what they’ll like and what they’ll hate. I think I totally hit the mark with this tie dye beach blanket I made for my daughter’s upcoming trip to the beach. The blanket is made from an interlock knit fabric, soft but with enough body to be comfortable on the sand. The tie dye gives it a fun beachy summer vibe and the fringe trim is right on trend. I’ve got a tutorial for you over at Orange Bettie showing how you can make this simple beach blanket.
