Sewing tutorial: Vampire cape for a Halloween costume

This vampire cape makes a cool Halloween costume!  You can sew one using a free pattern from Mayra at So Sew Easy.  The cape includes a faux tuxedo top and bow tie so it’s a whole costume.  It’s suitable for men or women, teens or adults.  Her free pattern is one size that will fit people from 4’3″ to 5’7″ tall. If you need the cape to be longer, she has instructions for lengthening the pattern.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!
