Sewing with Game Boy

August 18, by candi canncel. 4 Comments

As my birthday is coming, the number #1 thing on my birthday wish list is the Singer Izek Sewing Machine. It is SO cool.

It combines sewing technology with video game technology to create one very unique machine. A friend of mine has one and from what I can gather (as I haven’t really played with it extensively), you can program stitches via the game boy and come up with some super fun results. It also has 84 built in stitches and does everything from buttonholes to monograms. Cool!

Oh, I’ve been wondering about those. I saw one about a year ago online, but there was little information. Think the machine would be compatible with a Nintendo DS rather than the gameboy?

    Hi Candi,

I was looking for video showing how the machine works, but no luck 🙁 Do you have a site that shows more than a picture? I really look cool.

I scoured the internet looking for a video of how it works and have yet to find one. I thought it did come with a video how-to if you bought it brand new though.

I guess I’ll just have to get one and report back!

I have this. It does do a lot of different stitches, but it is NOT an embroidery machine.
