When my daughter was little, I’d sew all kinds of things for her – dresses, jammies, even doll clothes. She loved it all because I made it for her. But as she moves into her teen years, that approval is harder to come by. She still likes the things I sew for her, but it’s because I’ve adjusted my sewing process and expectations.
