Tips for sewing on stretch velvet

Like many of the 90s fashion trends, stretch velvet is back and it’s back BIG. T-shirts, dresses, anything is trendy when made from the magic fabric. The soft lush texture of the fabric can present some challenges when you sew. For example, ironing the fabric can crush the fibers if you’re not careful.
