Tutorial: 1940s inspired t-shirt with Y neckline and faux bolero

Steph from 3 Hours Past shares a tutorial on her blog showing how to make a t-shirt with details inspired by 1940s fashion (my favorite fashion era).  It’s the latest in her series of variations on her Blank Canvas Tee.  This one has a deep Y neckline and faux bolero seaming at the shoulders.  The details are dressy and chic, but it’s still a t-shirt at heart.  Dress it up, dress it down, it’s fabulous either way.  Go to her post to see photos and find out how to make one.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!
