The toy aisles at major discount stores may be filled with Strawberry Shortcake or Dora dolls, but what happens when your child is really into a book or cartoon character that doesn’t have a major licensing contract with a toy manfacturer? Good luck finding a character doll for her to snuggle. LiEr from ikat bag solved that problem by bypassing the stores altogether and making her own 2-D character softies. She created a tutorial showing how she did it. Get the how-to.
P.S. Check out more of her amazing 2-D softies here. I’m in love with her version of Lowly Worm and his apple car!
