Wen from What’s Mummy Up To? shows how to make two styles of girls dresses from a basic raglan sleeve t-shirt pattern. One is a drop waist dress with gathered skirt, the other an A-line dress cinched at the waist with an elastic casing. Both are intended as winter dresses, made from a heavy weight fabric with long sleeves. You could also make these for warmer weather by using a lighter weight knit and giving them short sleeves.
