Tutorial: 5 ways to hem knit fabrics

Probably my biggest challenge in sewing with knits is the hemming. The stretch of the fabric makes it too easy to stretch out the hem while you’re sewing it. Melissa from Melly Sews and Blank Slate Pattern shows five ways you can create a hem on knit fabric. The best one to use will depend on your fabric and your project. I always test out several methods on scrap fabrics to see which will work best. She also tells her secret weapons to make the knit fabric behave while you’re hemming it.
