Tutorial and pattern: A-line skirt for an 18″ doll

When my daughter was younger, I got such a kick out of making clothes for her dolls! I think maybe I enjoyed making the clothes more than she enjoyed playing with them. Over at the C&T Publishing site, you can get a free pattern for sewing an A-line skirt for an 18″ American Girl Doll. It comes with two variations – a straight hem and (my favorite) an adorable scalloped hem. It’s an easy project and a good intro into making doll clothes.
