The ones she made are for her 12-year-old son, and she gives the fabric requirements for making them in that size, but this would work for any age child. I’m always tempted by the pretty velvets at the fabric store. So much texture! And the way the fibers catch the light! But sewing on velvet is trickier than you’d think.
