If you want to keep light out of your room, blackout curtains are what you need. They’re lined with a tightly woven fabric that helps block the sun from the windows. Chelsea from Two Twenty One shares a tutorial showing how you can make them. The ones she created were for her son’s nursery – a wise choice for window covering in a room where a baby will be napping. I love that she used such a bright, happy fabric on them.
