The placket and collar on this boy’s Henley top are actually repurposed from a man’s shirt. Heather from Feather’s Flights shows how to do it. She used a man’s shirt with snap closures, but this work equally well with a button up shirt. She also uses fabric from the man’s shirt at the cuffs and the side seams. The plaid from the repurposed shirt and the elephant yardage make a fun mix of color and pattern. Go to Feather’s Flights for the tutorial.
