Tutorial: Braided t-shirt rug
Ronja Lotte from Nur Noch shows how you can braid and sew your old t-shirts into a new rug. You’ll cut the t-shirts into thin strips so slight staining would not be noticeable. The braided strips are stabilized on to a canvas backing before they’re stitched down. You can make the rug as big as you like – you’re limited only by how much rug you can roll up and squeeze in the space to the right of your sewing machine needle.
