These roller shades are made from burlap, with a wide printed ribbon for a border. Maryann from Domestically Speaking shows how you can make them. The burlap and ribbon are glued to an existing roller shade, so there’s no sewing necessary to make them. (This also fixes the problem of light coming through the loose weave of the burlap.)
