On a sewing machine, you can use a simple back stitch to keep seams from getting pulled apart at the ends. On sergers, there’s no back stitch and so you have to find a way to finish off or bury the thread ends so the seams don’t get pulled out. Luckily, it’s not that hard. Portia from Makery shows an easy way to bury the serger thread tails so the seams won’t get pulled out.
