Tutorial: Butterfly costume with extra large wings

These butterfly costumes are showstoppers thanks to those oversized wings. Ashley from Make It and Love It shares a tutorial showing how you can make them. The wings are made from a lightweight flowy fabric painted with colorful designs. Wooden dowels give support so they can be extra big. The wings are worn on the back by elastic shoulder straps, much like a backpack – but way prettier than a backpack. 🙂
