Melissa from Blank Slate Patterns and Melly Sews shows how you can adapt a blouse pattern to button down the back. Adding the buttons to the back gives an extra detail to the top while maintaining the clean lines on the front. She shows the adaptation with her Shoreline Boatneck pattern, but this would also work with any basic blouse.
