Jennifer from Monkey See Mail and Monkey See, Monkey Do shows how to make a cool new tote bag out of a pair of cargo pants. The seams and topstitching make nice design lines for the bag, and the large pockets on the front of the pants become pockets on the front of the tote. She used a pair of size 3T pants to make a bag for a young boy, but you could alter the dimensions and use a larger pair of pants to make a bigger bag. She breaks the tutorial into two parts. Go to part 1 for all of the cutting dimensions and how to make the handles. Go to part 2 for how to make the rest of the bag.
