I think the hardest part of learning to use a serger is just getting the thing threaded, especially the lower threads. There are places where one needs a pair of tweezers to pull the thread through. So once you get that puppy threaded, it’s a good idea to keep it threaded. Deby from So Sew Easy shows how you can change your thread colors without actually rethreading your machine. She shows it on her Brother 1034 serger, but this method works for most sergers.
