Sherri from Thread Riding Hood has just finished a sew-along for a child’s busy book.  The fabric book has 12 pages filled with activities to keep young hands and minds engaged.  Pages include a purse with a photo album inside, a pair of jeans with a buckle, an abacus, and more. She has collected links to all 27 posts and tutorials in the series and put them in one page so they’re easy to access.

Quiet books or busy books are educational book/toys made with age or development appropriate activities for babies, toddlers and preschool-age children. They are interactive and tactile. These books usually involve a cause and effect result as well as visual aids to teach fundamental learning skills. Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern
