When your rotary blade cuts into the surface of your cutting mat, it’ll often trap little bits of fabric lint in the mat. Over time, your cutting mat will get covered in fuzz that can make your cutting inaccurate. Becky from Patchwork Posse shows how she cleans the fuzz off of her rotary cutting mat. She uses an everyday office supply that you probably already have in your house. Go to Patchwork Posse to see what she uses and how she cleans her mat.

I use a scrap piece of poly batting to scrub it with, and since I keep it nearby, my mat doesn’t get too bad between cleanings.
