I may have several purses in my closet, but really I’m a one bag girl. I’m never actually going to take the time to switch all my stuff from one purse to another, just because the new bag will match my outfit better. So when I saw this Companion Pouches tutorial by Sew4Home, I thought, “This is MY kind of bag!” Their companion pouches are like modular bags with a detachable strap. They’re made to be carried together, but can also be carried separately. When you only need to carry the basics, you can have just one bag on the strap. When you need to bring a little more, add on a second pouch lickety split. Or, make several different pouches and choose the ones you need for each outing. Use the same hardware and no matter which bags you pair up, they’ll match like they were meant to be together.
