Heidi from The Fabric Mutt shares a tutorial for this adorable backpack.  She’s made it with a patchwork of sweet vintage-inspired fabrics but you could use a single print if you wanted to simplify construction.  Finished dimensions are 9 1/2″ wide x 10″ tall x 3 1/2″ deep which is perfect for a child to carry.  It would be easy to increase the size to make it for adults, too.
