Tutorial: Cuddle Pocket Blanket to keep your feet warm

Tutorial: Cuddle Pocket Blanket to keep your feet warm

Don’t you hate it when you can’t get warm wrapped up in a blanket and cold air keeps creeping in around your feet?  You can tuck the blanket in, but any time you move it’ll come undone and the cold air comes creeping back.  You might need a Cuddle Pocket Blanket like this one by Veronica from SewVery.  It has a pocket at the bottom for your feet, so there’s no having to tuck a blanket tightly to keep the cold air out.  It’s made from two layers of Cuddle fabric so it’s soft and warm, too.  Her dimensions will make a lap size blanket for an adult, or a larger blanket  for a child.  She shares a tutorial showing how you can make one.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

Make some for yourself, for gifts or to sell.
