Jess from The Sewing Rabbit shows how you can create a detachable belt fanny pack out of an old purse. The words “fanny pack” might cause some of us to flash back on our 80s childhoods, but rest assured that this is an updated version. Instead of a nylon zippered pouch, it’s reworked from a leather (or faux leather) purse. And instead of a belt made of webbing with an awful plastic clasp, this one is made to be threaded on a fashion belt of your choosing. When it’s not carrying the fanny pack, you can still wear it as a regular belt. Go to The Sewing Rabbit to see how to make one.
