Ren Murphy from The Inspired Wren shares a tutorial at Sew McCool showing how you can make this hoodie with diagonal color blocking. Rather than simple block shapes, her color blocking makes use of angled pieces. Check out how the diagonal stripes across the bodice are matched up with the stripes on the sleeves. Her tutorial shows how to get that perfect matching. She used the Tinely Tee by Chelsea Briner, but any basic t-shirt pattern will work. If you want it to be a hoodie, you’ll also need a pattern for a hood. If you don’t have one, you can make one by tracing around a hood on an existing garment.
