A little ombre can breath new life (and hide stains) on your fabric napkins. Caroline from Salsa Pie shares a tutorial over at Make and Takes showing how. You can create the ombre effect using fabric dye. It’s Because the pieces you’re dying are relatively small (not a yardage or a large garment), you can do this in a plastic tub at your kitchen sink. Go to her tute.

Clinton Kelly of The Chew just did this last week on the air. I wonder who actually thought of this?
Caroline Urdaneta says
Hi RedCaroselLion! I’m Caroline Urdaneta–the one who made this craft for Make and Takes. I don’t even know who Clinton Kelly is can you share a link? I would love to see her project!
Also, ombre dying techniques are not a new idea, projects like this have been circulating in the thousands of projects online for the past 3-4 years. I have not seen Clinton Kelly’s project nor do I know who he or she is.
I also wanted to add that your snarky comment did zing me a little today which is why I decided to respond. In the future, I would suggest that you A. use you real name when deciding to post a comment that is not uplifting and B. remember that online is not a mask that covers our good nature or bad. Just as in real life, person to person, online is a way to communicate and I suggest you never write anything you wouldn’t say in front of the person you are wishing to address.
Thanks for listening to me. I’m responding to this for the sake of my kids. I don’t want them to grow up in world where snark and jabs made by adults are tolerated.
