Mary from Zips and Darts shows how she made her own coated pattern weights, using materials she found at the hardware store. She used large metal washer and Plasti-Dip to create a set of pattern weights that were heavy enough to hold the pattern down while she cut it, but also had coated sides so they don’t slide and rough metal won’t catch on the pattern or the fabric.
