My interest is always sparked when I see the words “with tummy control” or “with slimming technology” on a tag in the clothing store. Me and my mama belly need some tummy control! But how much more awesome would it be to be able to add a tummy control panel to clothes that I make! Jess from The Sewing Rabbit shows how to do that, with a tutorial showing how she added a smoothing tummy panel to a pencil skirt. She used the Pleated Pencil Skirt pattern by Delia Creates, but this will work with any basic skirt or dress. Follow the link for the tutorial:
