Hilary and Jessica from Domestic Bliss Squared show how to make a simple skirt for an American Girl doll. It’s so easy, it only takes one seam! What makes it so simple is that she started with a thrifted skirt (size 9 month) and sized it down to fit the doll. This would work with any hemmed garment roughly the same size in diameter, perhaps a toddler’s t-shirt or maybe the leg of a pair of wide legged adult sized knit pants. Their post is part of the Holiday Sewing Blog Tour hosted by Jamie from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom. Go to Domestic Bliss Squared to get the tute.
