Melissa from Blank Slate Patterns shows two ways you can make a baby blanket. Her first method makes a lightweight blanket from a single layer of quilting cotton, perfect for the warmer months. Her second method makes a cozier option, a fleece backed blanket. Both are easy to sew. Either one would make a great gift for a new parent.
