School supply sales are just around the corner! Honestly, this is one of my favorite times of year. All those notebooks and pens and rolls of tape offered so cheaply by the discount stores! One of the items you always see are composition books. The hard-sided notebooks don’t have to be just for school, though.
Becky from Patchwork Posse shows how you can make a fabric cover for a plain composition book, turning it into a pretty journal. The fabric covers have an elastic strap to keep them closed when not in use. And when the notebook is filled, just remove the cover and put it on a fresh journal.
