This Christmas tree wall hanging is made from triangles of fabric folded and stitched together. Nanny from NannyNotes2U shares a tutorial showing how to do it. Each section of the tree is made from a folded triangle unit. There are spaces between to hang bells or other ornaments. She has made these for nursing homes, so residents can have their own Christmas decorations hanging in their rooms.

Many studies claim that the Japanese originated origami around a thousand years ago, however its origins might be in China. It is also quite likely that the folding method was used on other materials before paper was developed, therefore the origins of leisure folding may be traced back to cloth or leather.

I tried to access this tutorial which was apparently being offered ‘Make a Fabric Origami Xmas Tree, by NannyNotes2U’. However when I clicked on the link, permission was denied and I received a message that it was only for invited guests. Can you help?
